1. Nature of Services

Psych-Ethos provides online mental health and wellness counselling sessions for emotional well-being and personal growth. These services are therapeutic in nature, and do not replace medical treatment, legal consultation, or crisis intervention.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or are in a crisis, please contact emergency services, a medical practitioner, or a local crisis helpline immediately.

2. Eligibility

By using this website and booking sessions, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are voluntarily seeking counselling support. If you are under 18, written consent from a legal guardian is required.

3. Confidentiality

All personal information and session content will be kept confidential, except in cases where disclosure is required:

  • To prevent harm to self or others
  • By legal obligation
  • For minimal-information supervision or professional consultation

4. Booking and Payments

Sessions must be prepaid through our designated payment gateway (Razorpay). Appointment slots are booked via Calendly. Rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the session. Cancellations and refund terms are detailed in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Session Disclaimer

  • The counsellor is not responsible for decisions made by the client during or after sessions.
  • The sessions are a space for reflection, support, and gaining clarity.
  • The counsellor’s role is to guide and facilitate—not to prescribe, direct, or guarantee specific outcomes.

6. Platform and Technical Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring stable internet access and a quiet, private space for online sessions. Sessions are conducted via Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet.

7. Limitation of Liability

Psych-Ethos and its counsellors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service.
